Charity:Water: Committed to Clean Water
posted by Citizen You Blog Team on August 13, 2010
Charity:Water is bravely tackling a fundamental obstacle to global health and development: clean drinking water.
Right now, almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s one in eight people on planet Earth.
Founded by New Yorker Scott Harrison in 2004, Charity: Water brings a unique proposition to development work: 100% of every public donation goes directly to on-the-ground, sustainable water solutions in areas of greatest need.
