An inspirational film that chronicles the incredible work of Doctors without Borders has just been released.
"Living in Emergency: Stories of Doctors Without Borders," is a heart-pounding documentary that tells the story of four doctors and their inspiring work in Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Doctors Without Borders was founded by a small group of concerned doctors and journalists who were appalled by the absence of quality health care in so many parts of the developing world.
Today, the group provides humanitarian medical aid in areas ravaged by war, infectious disease and natural disasters. On an average day, almost twenty-seven thousand doctors and nurses ‘without borders’ work tirelessly to prevent illness and save lives.
